Our Journey to Redefine Exercise Physiology

2015

Evan graduated with a Master’s degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology after five years of study and stepped into the world of rehab consulting.

2017

Founded Walking Tall Exercise Physiology in a friend’s gym in Altona, delivering personalised rehab to clients across Melbourne’s west.

2018

Expanded services to support Medicare, DVA, WorkCover, income protection, and sports rehabilitation clients.

2019

Opened a dedicated exercise physiology studio in Malvern and continued to grow a private client base.

2022

Started working with NDIS participants and local soccer clubs. Welcomed Bonel, a fellow Exercise Physiologist, to the team.

2023

Rebranded to Walking Tall Rehab to reflect a wider scope of services. Hired an OT and several support workers, and moved into a new clinic and gym in St Kilda.

2024

Brought Jordan, another Exercise Physiologist, on board to help expand both NDIS and sports performance services.

2025

With big plans underway, the team continues to grow — focused on delivering inclusive, purpose-driven exercise physiology across Melbourne.

Evan combines over 20 years of competitive sport (soccer and endurance training) with a strong background in exercise physiology to support people of all ages and abilities. He’s committed to helping clients build confidence, regain function, and achieve their goals — whether it’s returning to sport, staying independent at home, or managing a chronic condition.
